Dr. Michael Zenner
Dr. Michael Zenner is the CTO and co-founder of Pythien. Michael oversees research and development as well as manufacturing operations. Growing up, Michael enjoyed playing a variety of sports from basketball to tennis. He currently enjoys volleyball, running, and
weightlifting. He particularly loves helping his daughter train for volleyball. After trying various grip sprays on the market and being unhappy with the results, he knew there was a better solution. That is when he got to work, developing a new, superior grip spray. Pythien was then born!
Michael holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry. He has just under 20 years of experience in research and development and over 10 years working in the chemical industry. It is his strong passion and years of experience developing new technologies for the chemical industry that drove him to develop a high-performance grip spray. Pythien was created to give athletes the utmost confidence in their equipment, so they can focus on the game and perform at their highest level.
Geoffrey Latsch
Geoffrey Latsch is the CEO and co-founder of Pythien, where he oversees the business and strategic direction of the company. An avid athlete, Geoffrey enjoys pickleball, basketball, golf, and jiu-jitsu. His passion for sports has given him a firsthand understanding of the physical and mental demands athletes place on themselves to perform at their highest level.
That passion led Geoffrey to pursue products designed to enhance an athlete’s natural abilities without allowing equipment to become a limitation. Pythien was created from that vision—with the goal of helping athletes stay confident, focused, and in control when every point, play, match, and game matters. Through Pythien, Geoffrey is committed to developing performance-driven products that allow athletes to focus on their game rather than the equipment beneath their feet.
Before founding Pythien, Geoffrey served in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and later spent ten years as a police officer. Those experiences helped shape his discipline, attention to detail, and drive for excellence—qualities he brings to every aspect of Pythien. His goal is to operate Pythien as a player-driven, performance- focused company dedicated to creating quality products that make a meaningful difference for athletes.
